EADTU offers an excellent matchmaking service for organisations that wish to address a business challenge but currently have limited resources (time, space, money) and for students who are looking for state-of-the-art working credentials.
EADTU is Europe’s leading representative association of distance education and e-learning. Its member base comprises of renowned universities and consortia from more than 22 different countries, serving off-campus target groups with accredited quality. EADTU has an extensive European contact network and maintains direct liaisons with academic officers on the local level. Matchmaking Step by Step
Welcome to the free matchmaking service for flexible modality internships: targeting talented academic students and top-class business assignments. Public or private organisations can submit challenging assignments while students can respond and submit profiles for internships of interest. Visitors can freely browse projects and profiles (1), register for matchmaking (2) either as an organisation (2a) or a student (2b).
1. Free aggregated browsing
To freely browse project and academic profiles without any obligations click the buttons represented below i.e., ‘Browse projects’ and ‘Browse profiles’. Mind that you are not registered now, and accordingly will not be able to use any matchmaking functionality, just browsing.

2. Free registration for matchmaking and communication
Find out more details about posted internships and academic profiles, and select one of interest to you. To do so you need to freely register! Click the ‘Register’ menu item at the top of the home page. You are asked to enter limited details and a login. Successively your email account is verified and you are ready to commence (freely). Your registration details remain disclosed. Only you can make your profile available to parties of your interest. Register for free.
2a. Logged on as an organisation
Through the menu option on your Left side you are able to browse academic profiles (i.e., latest offers), submit new projects of your own, edit/inspect your projects, use the on site mailing system, edit your details, view communication tips, and unregister from the site. By clicking ‘My projects' you are able to inspect whether you have interested applicants for your projects. By clicking the icon on the far right side of your projects i.e., ‘Students' you can inspect the status and confirm any interest. Your communication with students is facilitated by a blog function, as well as a common planning agenda.
2b. Logged on as a student
Through the menu option on your Left side you are able to browse projects (i.e., latest offers). By clicking the ‘Projects’ menu item, you are provided with an overview of projects you can click, and apply. With ‘My applications’ you can manage your applications and delete whenever necessary. Through the ‘Blog’ menu item you can rapidly communicate with an organisation of interest and plan activities by using a common ‘Agenda’. You can manage your personal details through ‘My details’. On site email is at your disposal by clicking the ‘Mail’ menu item. View communication tips by clicking ‘Communication Tips’. Unregister from the site by clicking ‘Unregister’.
